2012 F1 Spanish Grand Prix – FP1 + FP2 Overview

by Patrick on May 12, 2012

I’m in Spain at the moment so have not been able to post as frequently as i would like. Unfortunatly it’s not for the Grand Prix either! I’m currently in San Sebastian (4-5 hrs away from Barcelona) for a friends 30th Birthday party!

Still I was able to get onto the web and check the FP1/FP2 results and also found a channel on Spanish TV to watch the qualifying!

Spain is the first in line up of the European races and is always exciting as many teams bring their first big upgrades to the track, and with the way this season is going anything could happen!

I’m just going to post the FP1 and FP2 times as to go into much detail would require me having watched it!

The Ferrari’s are looking strong with several upgrades (including a front and rear wing) working well! FP1 saw Fernando Alonso top of the times although not a very good performance in Fp2. This shows that Ferrari is still in with a fighting chance this season!
